Amazon says they could make Alexa sound just like one your DEAD RELATIVE

Imagine being able to change the voice of YOUR ALexa to something MUCH more familiar. A a conference the week, Rohit Prasad, who is a company Vice President and developer of Alexa, said the desire behind this ability was to build greater trust in the interactions users have with Alexa by putting more "human attributes of empathy and affect." "These attributes have become even more important during the ongoing pandemic when so many of us have lost ones that we love," Prasad said. "While AI can't eliminate that pain of loss, it can definitely make their memories last."

Using as short sample of someone's voice, Amazon says they will be able to give your device the ability to 'Mimic' the desired voice, even the voice of someone who has passed away! Here's more from ABC Chicago.
