Carrie Underwood just dropped the video for her new single “Love Wins,” which she wrote with David Garcia and Brett James. Carrie says she wanted it to be a song that is “inspiring” to people, and have them feeling “hopeful” and “joyous,” although she’s not forgetting there are some problems in he world.
“We’ve always been a broken world,” she says. “We’ll always be a broken world, but there’s something about the human spirit that whether you are religious or not we all have that sense that there’s more than just right here, more than just us.” Check out the full video to the right.
ONE MORE THING! Carrie has lined up even more TV appearances to support her new album “Cry Pretty,” which drops tomorrow. In addition to “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” tonight, and “Today” tomorrow, she’ll be on “CBS Sunday Morning” on Sunday and “The Ellen Show” on Wednesday. She’ll also perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 22nd.
