Neal McCoy is making a political statement with his latest song. The singer shares his thoughts on the whole NFL National Anthem protest with the track, “Take a Knee, My A** (I Won’t Take a Knee),” which he just released on Facebook Live.
“I’ve been on 15 USO tours,” Neal says. “I’ve entertained our troops in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and all over the world. So, no, this is not a money grab.” He adds, “This is a guy that believes in our country, that does not like people kneeling, not standing with their hands over their hearts, for the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem. That’s what I’m about.” Check out the song to the right
ONE MORE THING! Neal just revealed on Facebook that he may be changing the title of the song to “Take a Knee, I’ll Pass,” explaining that he’s worried stations won’t play it because of the “A**” in the title, and he doesn’t want one word to keep folks from hearing the song.
