Chris Young and Lady Antebellum are doing what they can to help the folks in Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey. Chris has donated $100,000 to a GoFundMe page he started, which is dedicated to help the Red Cross. So far the fund has raised over $168,000.
“I have family and friends there and I’m fairly positive my house down there may have to be torn down as it was in one of the hardest hit areas by wind and flooding,” Chris says. "But that's the least of my concern. I'm worried about the people there. Like I said, my friends, family, neighbors and I want to help.”
Lady A is also doing their part to help the victims of the hurricane. After the band was forced to cancel their “You Look Good Tour” stop in Houston because of the hurricane, they decided to donate all the proceeds from the merchandise sold at their Dallas show to hurricane relief.
