DIERKS BENTLEY HELPS REUNITE A MILITARY FAMILY

Dierks Bentley had a part in reuniting a military family and it’s a moment he won’t soon forget.

In case you missed it, during a meet and greet at his Fresno, California concert over the weekend, Dierks chatted with a mother and her two sons who had no idea the surprise they were about to get. As they talked to Dierks, the kids' father, Staff Sergeant Steven Mendez, came out from behind a curtain, much to the kids shock, leaving barely a dry eye in the house.

Later, Dierks invited the family to join him on stage with the crowd chanting “U.S.A.” as they came out. “Seen many military family reunions on tv… first time to get to participate in one,” Dierks wrote on Instagram next to a photo of the family on stage. “Life changing. Thanks Staff Srg Steven Mendez and your family. #Fresno.” Check out the photo here or below, and see the reunion to the right.

ONE MORE THING! All three singles from Dierks’ “Black” album have new certifiations from the RIAA. Tunes “Somewhere On A Beach” and "Different For Girls,” featuring Elle King,  have both gone Platinum, for sales of one million copies, while “Black” has been certified Gold for sales of 500,000 copies.
