Who knew J-Lo’s game was so simple? Jennifer Lopez was dishing on how she met Alex Rodriguez on yesterday’s edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and it all came down to, “Hello.”
The “Shades of Blue” star was eating Cobb salad and tortilla soup when she saw the baseball star. She said, “I saw him walk by and then afterwards I went outside, but for some reason I just felt like tapping him on the shoulder and saying hi. And I said, ‘Hi, Alex,’ and he was like, ‘Hi, Jennifer,’ ... and then that was it.”
Once it was established that they both lived in Los Angeles, A-Rod said that they should “hang out,” and she agreed. He texted her to invite her to dinner and the rest of it was history.
ONE MORE THING! Just in case you were wondering, J-Lo isn’t an easy catch. Ellen DeGeneres asked her if she shared her goodies with A-Rod after their first dinner. J-Lo replied, “Mama don’t sleep over on the first date.”
