Lauren Alaina has landed her first number one song. Lauren’s very personal tune “Road Less Traveled,” which she wrote about her battle with an eating disorder, tops this week’s Mediabase and "Billboard" Country Airplay chart.
“It feels very weird, almost surreal,” Lauren tells "Billboard." “I have been waiting five years for this. I handed in this song four years ago, so seeing it rise to the top feels so good. My goal was top 20 at first, and when it got into the top 10, I wanted to go all the way. Thanks so much to ev- eryone for sticking with me this long.”
Lauren took to Facebook upon hearing the news about her number one and was literally in tears over it.
