Eric says five-year-old Boone takes his job on tour very seriously
Eric Church is currently on the road on his “Holdin’ My Own Tour,” and apparently he’s getting some help from his five-year-old son Boone.
Eric says Boone’s main job is “choir wrangler,” and he uses his flashlight to make sure the show's choir is ready to go and directs them how to get to the stage. Boone also takes it upon himself to make sure his dad gets to the stage on time, although Eric admits, “he’s wearing me out.”
And Boone isn’t doing all of this for free. Eric says that a few weeks into the tour the tot actually negotiated himself a salary. After first asking for $4,000 a show, Eric offered him a dollar. They finally settled on $10, although Eric realized, “Good God, I just got hustled.”
