Lainey Wilson isn't taking a moment to rest after her huge night at the CMA Awards this week. It was announced yesterday that she has been added to the list of performers for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. She won't be on a float, however; she’ll sing in front of the iconic Herald Square storefront in Manhattan, past which the parade route goes every year. The lineup of performers also includes Cynthia Erivo, "Kpop Demon Hunters" singers EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, Colbie Caillat, Ciara, Foreigner, Debbie Gibson, Mickey Guyton, Jewel, Lil Jon, Kool & the Gang, Taylor Momsen, Busta Rhymes, Calum Scott, Teyana Taylor and more. The 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air at 8:30am ET Thursday morning on NBC and Peacock.
It’s official…Shinedown, Carrie Underwood, and Creed will headline the 2026 Velocity Festival at the Field of Dreams movie site in Iowa. The three-day event takes place over Labor Day weekend from September 4th through the 6th. Shinedown performs Friday, Carrie Underwood on Saturday, and Creed closes the festival on Sunday. The festival is expanding from last year's two-day event that featured Tim McGraw and Nickelback that brought in over 35-thousand fans and generated more than $11-million for the region. Tickets and VIP passes go on sale today at 10 AM local time. VIP tickets include access to the actual movie site field, special entry, food and drink options, and better stage viewing areas. More acts and weekend activities will be announced at a later date.
