In case you missed it...
Congratulations to Carrie Underwood, who was just named the biggest-selling female country music artist of all time. Considering the legendary names she's outsold (Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Reba McEntire and many more), that is an amazing accomplishment. While Taylor Swift has sold more albums and singles overall, many of those were pop and not country. Specifically, Carrie has been named the highest Recording Industry Association of America-certified female country artist of all time, with over 95-million units (22.5-million in albums and 72.5-million in singles) in the United States alone, including both solo titles and collaborations. In a statement, the singer said, "Accomplishments like this are more than I would have ever dared to dream of when I was starting out. I owe everything to the fans, who have literally voted for me from the beginning of my career and have showed up and given me so much love for over 20 years. I feel truly blessed."
