In case you missed it...
Gavin Adcock is saying some people who attend his shows might be in for culture shock. During an appearance on Rolling Stone, the singer said fans "better get ready for the environment," adding "it's just a beer-soaked, rowdy, cussing, hell-raising environment where people are just throwing down." Adcock said it's "an experience" and that he even sells t-shirts that say "I Survived a Gavin Adcock Concert" at his shows. While his concerts get rowdy, he still prioritizes safety and says beer is now poured in cups at his headlining shows so cans are not a safety hazard if they get thrown. Case in point, he was recently on stage in Wichita, Kansas when a fan (apparently drunk) rushed the stage, got on the stage, and then was removed (not gently) by security. Gavin was introducing his next song when a fan suddenly vaulted on stage, knocking down his mic stand before security swarmed on him and took him down. For Gavin's part, he remained cool, stepping away until the situation was contained. Once it was, he returned to center stage, hoisted a bottle and told the crowd, "Well, that calls for a shot of Jack Daniels!" See the video (CAREFUL! NSFW LANGUAGE!) below...
Congratulations to Hailey Whitters and her husband Jake Gear, who've announced they're expecting! The couple broke the happy news on Instagram, and apparently they held on to it for a while, as she's six months along. Alongside some pics of the couple (where Hailey rocks her baby bump), the singer wrote "our greatest production yet. baby boy coming in Nov!" The couple already knows they're having a boy. Whitters and Gear have been married almost three years, and have been together for over a decade. You can see Hailey at the Concert at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville on Saturday with Tim McGraw as the headliner.
