In case you missed it...

A month after suffering an on-stage strokeRonnie McDowell has had surgery to deal with some of the factors that contributed to his medical emergency. His son Ronnie McDowell Jr. gave fans an update on his Facebook page. "Praise Jesus. He is out of surgery. The doctor says he is doing Great.... I can not thank you all enough for all of your thoughts and Prayers. I will keep everyone updated," he wrote. Another of the singer's children, Tyler, said it wasn't smooth sailing. "Today was quite the chapter...I’m not sure it’s appropriate for me to dive into specifics just yet - especially since we’re still sorting through them ourselves. But from what I understand, there was a slight complication, likely related to the blood thinners. Thankfully, it was handled quickly and now, I finally feel comfortable enough to say: I do believe… Dad is okay." He added that "It wasn’t long before he was surrounded by four of his kids (KaraAthena, Ronnie, and me) and four grandkids. He cracked a joke or two, and we knew he was still with us."

Yes, this is a Coldplay story, and no, there was no viral Kiss-Cam moment involved. The band was in Nashville Tuesday night when one of the city's residents jumped on stage to join them for a song. Keith Urban came up towards the end of the night as he and Coldplay paid tribute to the late Johnny Cash. They teamed up for a song called "Til Kingdom Come," which was written by the band prior to Cash's 2003 death, with the idea that Cash would record it with them. Unfortunately, he passed before that could happen. Check out a video of Keith Urban and Coldplay performing "Til Kingdom Come" below...
