It's not often Kane Brown is upstaged. In his decade in Country, he's not only reached the upper echelon of the format but his name is known in Pop music and in Hollywood as well. So to have him readily admit that his appearance at an event was considered almost secondary is a rare thing. Over the weekend, Kane, Luke Combs, Chase Rice, Jordan Davis and more all performed at Travis Kelce's "Tight End University." While Kane was on stage, he teased the crowd that there was a "really, really special guest ready to take the stage. As we told you yesterday, Taylor Swift then came out and did a rendition of her hit “Shake It Off,” accompanied by Brown on tambourine. This week, Kane shared a pic with Travis and Taylor, writing alongside it, "When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not." See Kane introduce Taylor to the crowd, and a clip of the performance, below...
Stars have fallen down on stage, forgotten lyrics, been hit with flying objects and split their pants. It's an occupational hazard: if something can go wrong, it will. LeAnn Rimes may have topped them all recently. On Instagram, she explained exactly how much she's committed to "the show must go on." "So last night I was on stage in the middle of 'One Way Ticket'...I feel something pop in my mouth....if you've been around you know I've had a lot of dental surgeries...I have a bridge in the front...and it fell out in the middle of my song." She explained that she ran to the side of the stage, popped it back in, finished her song and told the crowd exactly what had happened. She also said that for the rest of the show, she had to keep using her finger to push the teeth back into place while singing "every couple of lines." Now that's a professional. Hear LeAnn tell her story (CAREFUL! NSFW LANGUAGE!) below...
