In case you missed it...

Dolly Parton may have retired from extensive tours, but as she's said before, that doesn't mean she's done performing live. Yesterday it was announced that Dolly would be performing in Las Vegas for a sort of mini-residency at Caesars Palace this December. The six-show run, "Dolly: Live in Las Vegas," runs from December 4th through the 13th, alongside the National Finals Rodeo. "To say I’m excited would be an understatement," Dolly said in a statement. "I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well. See you there." This series of shows will be Dolly's first extended run in Vegas in 32 years. Check out the announcement below...

Toby Keith may be gone, but his legacy continues to help many. His "Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic," started by the country singer 21 years ago, was held three weeks ago and the numbers are now in. The benefit weekend raised more than $1.4-million, second only to last year's total (which was greatly aided by a significant one-time endowment). The event was hosted by Toby's friend Sammy Hagar and his widow, Tricia Covel. Of the event, Hagar said, "I had a blast … would be happy to do it again. Toby would’ve done that and more for me any day."
