In case you missed it...

Conner Smith has reportedly been involved in an accident in Nashville over the weekend that took the life of a 77-year-old pedestrian. According to a release from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the singer was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck Sunday when he hit Dorothy Dobbins as she crossed the roadway inside a marked crosswalk. Dobbins was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she later died. "The preliminary contributing factor for this crash appears to be Smith failing to yield the right of way to the pedestrian. He showed no signs of impairment," the release said. The investigation continues, and no charges have been filed against Smith, whose lawyer confirms the accident and says the singer "continues to cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation."

Several country stars have been known to tip well over 20-percent on occasion (Post Malone and Zach Bryan, for example). Count Chris Young among the "big tippers." Over the weekend, Chris was in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the Carolina Country Music Festival. Prior to his set Sunday night, Chris grabbed a meal at the 8th Avenue Tiki Bar and Grill. The singer reportedly ran up a $200 tab, then proceeded to leave a $2-thousand tip on top of that. Put away your phones, we'll do the math: that's a hefty 1-thousand-percent tip.
