In case you missed it...

Farm Aid will be held in Minnesota for the first time. "Farm Aid 40" is set for September 20th at Huntington Bank Stadium. The event will be headlined by the three artists who organized the first-ever Farm Aid in 1985 -- Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, and Neil YoungDave Matthews and Margo Price are also listed as headliners. Billy Strings and Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats are among at least another half-dozen artists scheduled to perform and more acts are expected to be announced. Farm Aid, which was inspired by global hunger relief efforts such as Live Aid, has raised more than 80-million-dollars for American farmers. Tickets go on sale Friday and are available through the Farm Aid website.

Two legendary singers on one legendary song. Steve Perry has brought on Willie Nelson for a slowed down, even more dramatic version of the Journey classic, "Faithfully." The newly-recorded song is a cash grab, but a charitable one. Proceeds of the song will go to Farm Aid, the charity Willie has been part of for four decades. About the song, Perry said, "No one has a voice or vocal phrasing anything like Willie Nelson. Singing this duet with Willie has been something I’ve always wanted to do...I’m so proud of what we have accomplished together.” Willie commented, "Working with Steve Perry on ‘Faithfully’ was a meaningful experience. It was a pleasure to collaborate on this song. I’m proud that we could create something meaningful and use it to give back through Farm Aid." Check out Steve Perry and Willie Nelson's "Faithfully" below...
