In case you missed it...
Fans ask stars to sign all sorts of things, so they're not often surprised by what's handed them along with a Sharpie. Kelsea Ballerini, however, felt she had to draw the line at one particular item. In Salt Lake City over the weekend, Kelsea got a request from a fan going through a divorce: he brought a sign that read “Will you help finish rolling up my welcome mat and sign my divorce decree?" referencing her 2023 "Rolling Up The Welcome Mat" divorce-oriented EP. Once she figured what he wanted, she hesitated before turning him down. "I’m not gonna do it for a couple reasons. One, because I don’t understand legal things as much as I probably should. And two, because respectfully, I am really excited to stop being the poster child for divorce. But I’m really happy for you, and I’m sorry you went through that and I’m gonna write you a little letter on the back... and you’re gonna get someone legal to sign it." Hard to believe, but Reba McEntire is 70 years old! Over the weekend, on her birthday, the legend performed in Uncasville, Connecticut and the crowd serenaded her with a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday." Part of that crowd, unbeknownst to Reba, were several family members, including her son Shelby Blackstock and daughter-in-law Marissa Blackstock. Reba had no clue they were there until she came backstage after the show and saw them in the green room, where they once again sang "Happy Birthday" to an emotional McEntire.
