The first round of performers for the upcoming ACM Awards has been announced. The ACMs are leading with three big names, with more to follow in the coming weeks. Blake Shelton, Eric Church and Lainey Wilson have been tapped to take the stage at the 60th Annual ACM Awards. Reba McEntire will host the event from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas which fans can watch on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch on Thursday, May 8th at 8PM Eastern. Nominations will be announced this Thursday.
In a career full of awards and accolades, last Monday has to rank right at the top for Trisha Yearwood. The singer was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with fans, friends and husband Garth Brooks present for the star's unveiling. During the ceremony, Carly Pearce and Reba McEntire delivered speeches dedicated to Yearwood. Though Garth didn't speak at the ceremony, he sat nearby and was wiping away tears throughout the speeches. Trisha addressed her husband from the podium, "as many accolades and awards as he has won, I never see him get more excited than he does when I receive something.
