Joe Nichols finds himself in rare air. His career spans more than two decades, but he just received notification that he is now a member of the Pandora Billionaire club; after a performance over the weekend at Margaritaville in Nashville, the singer was gifted with a plaque commemorating over 1-billion song streams on Pandora. In a statement, Joe said, "This means the world to me. To the Pandora listeners, thank you for caring enough to engage with my music, which is what I’ve wanted most from the time I was a kid. And to Pandora, thank you for giving me a platform to play my music on and giving me the chance to go out there and meet the fans."
Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic is coming back to Texas (after moving to Camden, New Jersey last year), and Willie wants to know what's keeping you from going. In a statement, the legend said, "I’m 92 years old and I’ll be there so you have no excuse. I look forward to bringing back my annual 4th of July Picnic to the city I love and sharing this special event with all my Austin fans." Along with Willie, the event will also feature performances by Bob Dylan, The Avett Brothers, The Mavericks, Asleep at the Wheel and Tami Neilson. Tickets go on sale today at 10am Central.
