In case you missed it...
First, deepest sympathies to Dolly Parton, who announced yesterday the passing of her husband of almost 60 years. Carl Dean died Monday in Nashville at the age of 82. The pair met in 1964 and were married in 1966, with Dean staying mostly out of the spotlight. Parton's statement added that the two spent "many wonderful years together" and that words "can't do justice the love we shared for over 60 years."
Congratulations to Elle King and BF Dan Tooker, who welcomed Baby #2 last week. The couple joint-posted a black and white pic of the three of them, with the caption reading, "Our family just got a little bit brighter. Welcome to the world Royal Tooker." No word on the baby's gender yet; the couple are already parents to three-year-old son Lucky.
Brian Kelley has made a firm statement that there is life after Florida Georgia Line. On Friday, he released both a new live album and concert film, "Surf Post Sessions Live." "Surprise! I’m really proud of our Surf Post Sessions and excited to give fans who haven’t been able to join us a live album and concert film to kick back to," Kelley shared. Recorded and filmed in the backyard of the Tribe Kelley Surf Post in Grayton Beach, Florida, the set consists of ten tracks and was taped over two nights last July.
