In case you missed it...

Carrie Underwood's role as judge on "American Idol" comes with a side-gig. The singer is to lead the web series "Idol To Icon," which will be released as a companion to the singing competition. It will air on YouTube starting on March 4th, serving as a table-setter for the series itself, which makes its debut on ABC on Sunday, March 9th. Each webisode will cover a different part of the competition as the season progresses, with the last episode covering her finale memories and ultimate Idol winning moment.

Riley Green did two things on Instagram recently: unveiled another unreleased song for fans, and let everyone know where he stands on the "when should you take your Christmas tree down?" debate. First, the song; as he performed it on acoustic guitar from his living room, Riley captioned the post, "Song I just wrote called…”Make It Rain” hope y'all like it…" As for the other thing, as Riley plays, there's a fully-lit Christmas tree in the background and (checks the calendar)...it's almost March. Also in the captions, Riley warns, "also first person to make a smart*** remark about my Christmas tree still being up is gettin blocked. #countrymusic #newmusic #weouthere #christmaseveryday" Check out Riley's still-appropriate tree (and his song "Make It Rain") below...
