In case you missed it...
There are all sorts of benefit concerts and events aimed at lessening the suffering of folks impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. Jelly Roll, however, is aiming his efforts at one specific group. While JR was a big part of FireAid, along with many other artists, he's also performing in a special concert just for first responders. Saturday, Jelly is inviting all area first responders to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena for a "thank you" concert. The show is said to possibly include some unnamed "friends" who will also be part of the festivities. Tickets for the event are free, and Los Angeles first responders have been offered up to four tickets for themselves, family, and friends.
Chris and Morgane Stapleton are the latest to dig deep to help out those suffering as a result of the California wildfires. "Outlaw State Of Kind" is an organization started by the Stapletons in 2016, and in its almost ten years of existence has given millions to charitable causes. It's stepping up once again, posting on its Instagram account, "Outlaw State of Kind has donated $1 million to support national and local organizations providing wildfire relief in Los Angeles. Join us in supporting however you can." For more information on what "Outlaw State Of Kind" does and how you can help, go to their website.
