Beyoncé. Post Malone. Chet Hanks? The latest, and perhaps most unlikely, musician to venture into the country field is the son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson...rapper Chet Hanks. The "New York Post" talked to Hanks at the 2024 VMAs last week and he dropped that bit of news on them - that he's got a country project in the works. "I also got signed to a label, a country label," Hanks shared. "I’m recording the country album, believe it or not...I’m telling you, when this s**t comes out, it is going to be crazy." Crazy, of course, doesn't necessarily mean good, so...time will tell.
Last week, Kelsea Ballerini was pumped to let fans know that she would be playing New York's Madison Square Garden as a sort of "album release party." Hope you got your tickets, because that show is sold out. Kelsea posted on Instagram yesterday, "woke up on this lovely birthday to see quite possibly the most unreal gift i can imagine…you guys sold out madison square garden immediately. pretty speechless at this one. 🤯😭🙏" The concert (so you know what day you can be green with envy) is October 29th.
