“Sunset Boulevard” is getting a special re-release. The classic film will return to theaters on August 3rd and 4th, celebrating the movie’s 75th anniversary. “Sunset Boulevard” was first released on August 10th, 1950. The movie follows a struggling screenwriter who stumbles into meeting a forgotten Hollywood starlet who refuses to fade away, and the web of obsession and delusion he gets caught up in. The movie starred William Holden and Gloria Swanson, as well as Erich Von Stroheim and Nancy Olson. The theatrical re-release will include an introduction by film critic Leonard Maltin.
