Country musicians continue to give their time and their efforts towards helping Texas flood victims.Ā The July 4th weekend Texas floods have taken 130 lives, with over 100 people still missing weeks later.Ā Miranda LambertĀ andĀ Parker McCollumĀ haveĀ organized a benefit concert, "Band Together Texas," to raise money for flood relief efforts. It's certainly jam-packed with huge names: along with Lambert and McCollum, the benefit will feature performersĀ Kelly Clarkson, Cody Johnson, Ronnie Dunn, Lyle Lovett, Randy Rodgers BandĀ and more. Non-musicians who will appear includeĀ Matthew McConaughey, Denis Quaid, Roger ClemensĀ and others. The concert will take place on Sunday, August 17th at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Tickets will be made available atĀ BandTogetherTexas.com. Presale starts Wednesday, July 23rd at 10am CT. Any remaining tickets will be available at general on sale beginning on Friday, July 25th at 10AM Central Time.
We get it...Dylan MarloweĀ isn't a country superstar, so it's easy to understand that some people might not recognize him. However, you have to wonder what was going on in Eau Claire, Wisconsin over the weekend. Marlowe played Country Jam USA on Saturday, on a bill that featured Tigirlily Gold, Marlowe,Ā Craig Morgan,Ā Jake OwenĀ andĀ Sam Hunt. Once his set was done, he went down front to watch Jake Owen perform. Even though he had his all access pass, an overenthusiastic security guard told him he couldn't be there. Marlowe admits things got a little testy, before the security guard grabbed him by the back of the shirt and guided him out of the area.
