In case you missed it...
Chase Rice is a native North Carolinian, and like Eric Church and Luke Combs, the devastation from Hurricane Helene last year hit home with him. When one family was rejected by FEMA for assistance after losing everything, Chase stepped up in a big way. According to the Ashley Pogalz, "We make too much money for help, and that’s not fair, because the hurricane didn’t ask us how much money we made before it took everything. So why? Why does it matter how much we make? We need help." While FEMA did supply some funds, that and insurance payments gave them enough to buy a new parcel of land. Then, Rice partnered up with the Montana Knife Company and a non-profit by the name of We Must Protect, and together, they raised enough money to rebuild the Pogalz family’s home. Chase Rice - good guy.
