Tim McGraw transported his social media followers back to the 90s with a nostalgic throwback photo on Wednesday (May 28).
“Man, way, way back,” McGraw captioned the snapshot. “Just a kid dreamin….” The country superstar set the photo to “Welcome To The Club” on TikTok. The song kicks off McGraw’s 10-track, self-titled debut album that he released in 1993. Other singles from that record included “What Room Was the Holiday In,” “Two Steppin’ Mind,” and “Memory Lane.”
“You gave her everything you thought she wanted/ Now all you want is gone/ You're just one of many broken hearted/ Wondering what went wrong
“Welcome to the club/ Don't be thinkin' you're the only one/ Whose heart was in a hit and run/ While you looked the other way/ As you're howlin' at the moon/ Take a look around the room/ At all your fellow fools of love/ Welcome to the club”
McGraw has since become known for dozens of iconic hits throughout his decades-long career, including “I Like It, I Love It,” “Live Like You Were Dying,” “Something Like That,” “Where The Green Grass Grows,” “Just To See You Smile,” “Down On The Farm” and many more. McGraw is gearing up to headline the last of three nights at the first-ever Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeo in Nashville, Tennessee. Other headliners include Reba McEntire and Jelly Roll. The event is slated for Thursday (May 29) through Saturday (May 31).
