In case you missed it...

CBS has revealed that Gretchen Wilson will be joining its upcoming singing competition "The Road." The series, created by Taylor Sheridan and Blake Shelton, follows several up-and-coming musical acts going on tour as the openers for headliner Keith Urban. Wilson's role will be as "tour manager," giving advice and guidance to the performers as they make their way through the competition. She’ll also take the stage along the way. As the performers open for Urban, they slowly get eliminated, with the crowds weighing in on who gets to stay on the tour. "The Road" is slated to premiere on CBS in the fall.

While this should not be surprising, since both of them were announced as early winners of an ACM award, Ella Langley and Zach Top have been added to the growing list of performers for the upcoming awards show. Both were named as winners in the categories of New Artist Of The Year (Female) and New Artist of the Year (Male), respectively. The awards will once again be hosted by Reba McEntire and will stream live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch on Thursday, May 8th from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

In other Zach news, he recently posted a pic on his socials that does absolutely nothing to dispel the rumors that he's the son of legend Alan Jackson. See resemblance for yourself at BLOG.
