CMT Announces Next Women Of Country Class of 2021

CMT has announced the 10 up-and-coming country artists who will make up its Next Women Of Country Class of 2021.

The group consists of Reyna Roberts, Tenille Arts, Ashland Craft, Brittney Spencer, Chapel Hart, Hannah Dasher, Harper Grae, MacKenzie Porter, Priscilla Block and Sacha.

The new inductees were welcomed in by Next Women of Country alums Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Mickey Guyton, Carly Pearce, and more during a recent CMT Hot 20 Countdown episode.

Launched in 2013, the annual program aims to support and elevate rising female artists in country music. In an effort to do so, all of this year's honorees will receive cross-brand support for their music and videos across CMT Music channels, CMT Radio, the Hot 20 Countdown and more. The women will also be featured on CMT's "Equal Play" channel on Pluto TV.

"We’re thrilled to welcome the newest class of CMT’s Next Women of Country," Leslie Fram, senior VP of Music & Talent at CMT said in a statement. "These artists represent the best of fresh new talent and the diversity of styles that country music has to offer. We look forward to providing this group more exposure than ever before, particularly within the ViacomCBS family on Pluto TV, as well as providing them with essential resources to help them build their musical careers."

All 10 of the new artists in the 2021 class will perform during the online special, CMT Presents: Next Women of Country Class of 2021, hosted by Caylee Hammack, Rissi Palmer and Lauren Alaina. The one-hour special will air on CMT's Facebook and YouTube channels on Tuesday (January 26) at 5PM ET.
