In case you missed it...
Tracy Lawrence has announced the performers for today's "Mission: Possible" Turkey Fry and Concert event. The 20th annual edition of the combination turkey fry/concert has provided needy families in the Nashville area with Thanksgiving dinner every year since 2005, and has grown every year. This year's concert portion of the event will once again take place at Luke Combs' "Category 10" bar in downtown Nashville, and will include appearances from Lawrence himself, along with Gretchen Wilson, Eric Paslay, Chris Cagle, Halfway to Hazard, and Addison Rose. Since its inception, Mission: Possible has fried over 10-thousand turkeys, provided more than 86-thousand meals to the homeless across Middle Tennessee, donated over $1-million to Nashville Rescue Mission and raised over $2.5-million. Tickets are available for the concert while they last at Tracy's website.
We just got new music from Randy Travis, and it's 100-percent legend, no AI required. Recorded 12 years ago (before the legend's debilitating stroke), the song has been stowed away in the vaults all this time. In a post late last week, the singer wrote "As Christmas draws near, I thought that now would be the perfect time to give my fans an early Christmas present. I’m thrilled to share an unreleased recording from the vault this holiday season! 'Where My Heart Is' reminds me of the family, friends, and fans I’m grateful for every day, especially during the holidays." As we get ready for Thanksgiving next week, we're thankful for "new" Randy Travis music! Check out "Where My Heart Is" below...
